Smt. Ayisha Elachola; born at Vadakkemanna on 1st January, 1950; B.A., LL.B; Advocate; Political and Social Worker.
Entered politics in 1970 through Students Movement; Actively involved in literary and cultural activities; won first prize in Malayalam elocution from Calicut University in 1974; Also won many a prizes in literary competitions; Member, Students Federation State Committee from 1971; served as Malappuram CPI District Secretary for 8 years; Member, CPI State Committee for 17 years; actively participated in Trade Union Activities; Joined Muslim League in 1987. Was Member in Kerala Wakf Board, Regional Transport Authority, Malappuram, KSRTC Advisory Committee, National Savings Programme Advisory Committee and Kerala Khadi and Village Industries Board. Was District President, Kerala State Library Council; Premier Chairman Serifed; Vice-president and Standing Committee Chairman, Malappuram District Council. Was Vice-President of STU for several years.
Now, President, STU; Muslim League Malappuram District Secretary and State Secretariat Member. |
