Founder Member, Treasurer and Vice-President of Association of Malayalam Movie Artists; Founder Member and President of Association of Television Media Artists (ATMA); Founder Member and President of Artists of Cinema & T.V. Media Co-operative Society; Chairman, Malayalam Television Fraternity; Was Minister for Transport in the Ministry headed by Shri. A. K. Antony from 17.05.2001 to 10.03.2003. was Minister for Forest, Sports and Cinema in the current Ministry up to 02-04-2013.
