for Agriculture to the necessity to include Alappuzha
District in the Agricultural Package, declared by the
Central Government and to amend the terms of reference of
Swaminathan Commission so as to get the benefits of
Kuttanad Package to all the farmers in Alappuzha District.

Shri. V.N. Vasavan to call the attention of the Minister
for Labour and Excise to the necessity to take steps to
revive the functioning of the closed plantations in the
State.
