Enter Politics through K.S.U. in 1966; was the first Chairman of Angamaly Municipal Council and the Youngest Municipal Chairman then in Kerala; served as Director, Kerala Plantation Corporation and Kerala State Consumer Federation; was Vice Chairman, Kerala University Union; was Secretary D.C.C. and Member K.P.C.C.. Now I.N.T.U.C. State Secretary and office bearer of many Trade Unions working in and around Ernakulam.
