LIST OF BUSINESS

  

 I.  Questions:-

          Questions entered in the separate list to be asked and answered.

 II.  Calling Attention:-

(1)    Shri. M.A. Vahid to call the attention of the Minister for Home and Tourism to the necessity to take steps to solve the traffic problems reportedly existing in Thiruvananthapuram city.

(2)    Shri P. C. George to call the attention of the Minister for Law, Parliamentary Affairs, Sports and Youth Affairs and Ports to the defects reportedly existing in the survey activities of Sabari Railway line.

 III. Paper to be laid: -

                     Shri C. Divakaran, Minister for Food and Civil Supplies and Animal Husbandry to lay on the Table the Report of Justice Muraleedharan Commission of Inquiry regarding corruption in Supplyco together with the Memorandum of action taken by the Government thereon.

          IV. Statement under Rule 300: -

                       Shri C. Divakaran, Minister for Food and Civil Supplies and Animal Husbandry to make a statement under Rule 300 on the Report of Justice Muraleedharan Commission of Inquiry regarding corruption in supplyco and the action taken by the Government thereon.

 

 V.  Presentation of Reports:

             Shri. N. Anirudhan, Chairman, Committee on Local Fund Accounts to present the First to Third Reports of the Committee.

 VI. Financial Business :-

       Dr. Thomas Issac, Minister for Finance to lay on the Table the Supplementary Financial Statement for the year 2006-07.

 VII.   Legislative Business :-

           Motion for consideration and further stages of the Kerala Finance Bill, 2006, as reported by the Subject Committee.

 VIII.  Motions under Rule 130 :- 

1.       Shri. G. Karthikeyan, to move the motion to raise a discussion regarding the need to constitute a committee to study the increasing road accidents in the State and to suggest remedial measures.

2.       Shri P. Jayarajan to move the motion to raise a discussion to the need to extend the implementation of National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme in other districts of the State.
